I am a qualified counsellor with a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling. I have been working in primary and secondary schools as a school counsellor where I work using creative play therapy. Although I am a person-centred counsellor much of my work is usually implemented in an Integrative style of counselling greatly influenced by Person Centred Theory and CBT.
I worked for many years with prenatal and postnatal women who were experiencing many issues including anxiety, depression and have experienced a traumatic birth.
Please feel free to email me to discuss availability and working together.

Biography
I feel passionate about the importance of people’s mental health and well-being. I have worked in the NHS for 20 years in various settings as a mental health nurse and have now retrained as a counsellor. My aim is to create a safe, supportive therapeutic space for you to feel listened to, your voice heard, and your thoughts, feelings and experiences validated to help you build your self-awareness, emotional resilience, self-confidence and self-esteem to help support you to work through and explore the difficulties you are experiencing.
